I just loaded this new version of Spysweeper onto a 3K machine with Office 2K pro. If I run Spysweeper, Outlook will not run. The error message says that the MAPI spooler could not be started.
I have tried both the Pro and SBE versions of Office. All SPs are up to date for W2K and Office.
In the new version there is a Windows Messenger Shield. I turned that off to no avail. The only way I can get Outlook to work is if I shut SpySweeper down.
I need the extra protection of V3 on this machine as it is a remote machine.
Any thoughts? The people at Webroot are stumped, too.
