Nod 32 from is one of the best anti virus programs i have used if you want to pay for one..

I use MCafee antivirus also symantec and they have both worked fine at home i use Avast which is free for home users and no issues. some antivirus blocks port 25 so check out the documentation

I have had to use different types, depending on the customers corporate anti-virus, and as long as the firewall is turned off, there should not be an issue.
