If you are using Windows 10, one trick to get the dba password is to view it from Task Manager command line.

It is unbelievable Oracle made dba password available in this way, though.

Wait, what? DBA password shows up in plaintext in Windows 10? I'm not sure what you mean by Task Manager command line though, are you talking about tasklist?

Yes, go to Task Manager's task list, find SQL Anywhere Remote Server. DBA password shows up in plaintext.

I found getdba on the desktop. Perhaps the previous IT manager did some work so that I can view view DBa password.
