Anyone ever used dbf explorer? I have heard that it may cause problems by possibly corrupting the .dbf files. Just wanted to know if anyone has any insight on this. I am trying to merge 2 item.dbf files.
 
I have not used that program, but would Excel work for you in that situation?
 
I highly recommend using CDBF for editing DBF files. Very powerful, easy to use, and there is a command line version available called CDBFlite.

I used both CDBF programs at different times to merge DBF files and more.
