Anybody know how to freeze a grid column

Is there a way to freeze a grid column that is similar to the browse freeze?

Hi Bill:

Probably the property 'Partition' could help you to freeze the leftmost part of the Grid.

Hi Bill.

You do not say which version of VFP you are using. In version 8 and 9, this is a piece of cake. Just set the grid's LockColumns property to some value that is greater than 0.

In this case 6. That explains why a friend of mine was sure it could be done. We both work in ACCPAC/SBT one version is Vision Point - runs in VFP 6 and the other is Pro runs in VFP 8
