any ways to reset main administrator password 2

Hi

I am taking over a G5 that someone else has been using. Hoever nobody knows what is the password for the administrator. Any idea is there any way to reset the password.

PS: need this password to install software,etc

You need a system installer CD. Insert the CD. Do not proceed with the system installation. Instead, stop it and find the password utility from the menus.

once you boot with the system installer CD, select Password Reset Utility from Installer menu.

reset all users, leave the password blank, later you can add password from System Preferences.
