Any way to record name using Visual Voice??

All extensions are currently using visual voice. We have been asked to setup a names directory. This requires all users to record their name for the mailbox. There currently is no option to record a name in visual voice. This means I have to teach everyone *17 and a whole new set of codes.

Any ideas?

By names directory I meant Dial By Name.

I train them to setup their mailbox via *17 to record their name and mailbox greeting. And then to use the visual button to retrieve messages. There was a similar issue when ip office first came to North America (around 2002) in that the voicemail set to IP Office Mode also did not have a method to Record Name. I would program a shortcode to a voicemail node containing the configuration action "Record Name" - which is set to "Callers Mailbox" so the enduser must dial the shortcode from their own phone to record the name for their mailbox. I haven't tested this on visual voicemail.
