I have a customer who wants the Caller ID information for a user even if they hang up before leaving a message. Is there anyway to attach this information to an email and send it?

Thanks.

I think you could do that with a little playing. Although I would be very long winded.

Try this for one user and take it from there.

In VM Pro right click users and then Add. Select a user from the list and tick Leave.

In the Leave Start Point that you have created for that user put an email action then a Leave Mail action. The Leave Mail action can be left with Default settings (ie specific tab set to callers mailbox). double click the email action and go to the specific tab and set as follows:

Send email to: [user email address]
Subject: Call To Voicemail
Content: $CLI

Link all the action through so it goes Start Point>email>Leave Mail.

Ring that user and let it get to the v/m greeting and hang up. It should then send an email to the user containing the CLI info even though they havent left a message. It will also send the same email if they do leave a message.

This all assumes email settings are correct for VM Pro.

I have never tried this but should work ok.

Fooball is not a matter of life and death-It is far more important!!!!

The caller ID should be the content of the email not attached to the email. Does it need to be an attachment??

Did the email you recieved have the CLI in the content??
