Any version of DW crashes my PC!

DW Wont boot without crashing the whole PC!

Hi, I have posted here before...saying that DW4 wouldnt boot without crashing.
I tried UltraDev 4...and I have just managed to try DW3

The same thing happens with DW3 - I boot it up, the splash screen shows, and some of the GUI comes up, but just as the last windows fills, the system hangs.

It seems as tho everything else still actually works (lights on modem/wireless keyb/mouse etc...)

There is nothing I can do apart from reset my PC.

I have a Duron 800, with 640MB ram, a 80GB ATA 7200rpm Hard drive, Diamond Stealth III S540 AGP graphics, AWE 64 gold soundcard.

I have tried to remove & replace drivers for the graphics card, but DW still crashes.

I have tried to upgrade to DW MX, but it wont install on my OS...not sure why, because I have had MX installed on previous installs of w98.

Will I be missing a certain file? (my windows update is up to date)

My Virtual Mem is set to 220M min AND max.
I have RamPage keeping my mem in order, trying to claim back 500MB even though - over the course of a few hours, it goes down to 5MB then reclaims.

REally am cluless as to why DW wont boot...any help greatly appreciated.

I just tried installing DW4 again, but on a different drive.
The install went OK, and it booted all the way, but....when I clicked on the 'expand' button - to make the screen bigger - it crashed...the whole system....
