I have the worst time with outlook (all vers) when moving user data from one machine to another or after formatting a drive for a client, then returning the data so that it works properly. Any tips on exporting .pst files, renaming, then re-importing. Any exceptional read-me’s or personal tips & tricks would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

You might be better in forum68 or forum605

Personally I just use the mail icon in control panel.

What kind of problems do you have? I never had a problem importing a pst.

iblearnen,

No need to export a .PST file.
Simply copy the file and then do the import on the second machine.
You can even copy the PST to the C:\Documents and Settings\"USER NAME"\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook folder and Outlook will load the file.
If this does not cut the mustard, please be more specific as to your requirements.
