Hi - I'm looking for a tool to format SQL (scripts/queries/SPs) in a consistent manner.

There are tools for other languages (HTML-tidy, VB-beautify, etc) .. and I wonder if anyone has come across something like this for SQL?

I've heard that MS-SQL Server has a feature somewhere that does this; but since I'm on Sybase, I need a standalone utility that's more accessible.

TIA

Hi Trids,
Pl. try UltraEdit. It's excellent and you can edit unix or win files with equal ease. There are other solutions, but far more expensive.
Good Luck,
Kumud

TheSybaseGuy,
I use UltraEdit.
Are you sure it can actually beautify SQL?
How can I get it to do that? I would love to use it to format my code!

Thanks :)
