I'm in development currently and close to the first release. Hit me up, I'm looking for input and interest in the software. Looking to release January 1st. I am also looking to expand this to other POS systems later. If you would like to hear more details on this project please contact me.

Is this the Aloha Iphone interface they are using in Europe? It's pretty cool, one of my salesman is using it for demos.

Cheers,
Coorsman

This is a 3rd party app and it does not access the DCOM of Aloha.

This interface works on any device. It is a mobile web app, not a downloadable app (however, there may come a time I might have a use for some of the actual device functions later, who knows).

I have personally not seen anything of it's kind yet. Here are the current list of features to be released in January.
-System Error Alerts & Alert custom settings.
-Live and Historic Reporting (Sales, Pmix, Payment, Labor)
-Dated sub Backup/Restore.
-Windows Registry Backup/Restore
-Aloha.ini config changes
-One touch fixes to include: EOD too soon, recover FS, Stuck grinding date(more to come on this one, probably more to do with EDC fixes, split batch, or spooling recovery).
-Terminal connection status checks.
-Corporate promo, comp and item additions. No more remoting in each site. (Send to specific sites you own. These go on specified menus even, support for Quick Service on this feature is coming soon. It's all automatic)
-Easy menu swapping (no more cut and paste a ton to make an available spot on your menu.)
-Easy Happy Hour additions and Event management.
-System Logs
-Recent changes
-Change processors
-Config EDC
-Easy Support Ticketing and issue tracking.
-Secured by 256kbit connection (private encryption keys will be allowed)

More to come, but all of this is for the scheduled New Years release. Most of this works with both TS and QS except item, promo, comp additions.

I could show you a demo, but likely your selling configuration center if your a dealer. Radiant wont like that because I know just how they are. Let me know otherwise. I'm open to suggestion pieces as well.

Lol,

Hi Coorsman,

so does your sales guy like TIM? We put lots of effort in it and the january release is going to be brilliant....

Any chance of finding out more about this mobile application that doesn't access the Aloha DCOM

Thanks,

SousTech

@soustech
you will never find anything that interfaces into Aloha without COM. That is simply the way Aloha works. Radiant has developed a new integration interface, but it is only available for internal use and our handheld solution.

@USofAScott
Indeed we did and it is being resold by several resellers. I don't think I'm allowed to post a link to the website on this forum, but we created a dedicated website for this and I'm pretty sure if you google with the right keywords you can find it. We currently have just over 200 sites live.

None of the listed functions would use DCOM. I don't see any interfce to the actual FOH services to enter orders. Mostly reporting and BOH utilities.

Cheers,
Coorsman

I wouldn't mind giving it a look. Hook us up :)

@ IndexRobert and other readers

As a reseller (Access POS) for the TIM POS handheld in Australia we can certainly vouch for what a fine product it is. We have installed in a number of sites, all with great success.

We have previously resold other handheld solutions linked to Aloha POS in the past but the TIM product is a far superior product.

I had a hold up, as you might imagine, but I am far more impressed with the interface and functionality so far. I was finally able to hire another developer to help me speed up the process. I am accepting beta installs at the moment, free of charge for your helpful input. There have been slight modifications and limited features so far on any browser and I still have to wrap up some of the mobile stuff. I'm also trying to work a little support module into the system for quick bug reports and support ticketing, i will eventually be extending these for your own use. You may contact me at admin@posignite.com with details of your interest. Make sure to leave your phone number and contact info. I've made some huge sacrifices to get here this last year. I appreciate your interest and support.

I would also like to note, our mobile web app works on pretty much any mobile phone, tablet, or PC out there, not just IPhone. There is no download, and it functions just like a native app. Only thing we aren't messing with is camera and things like that, because we don't need them.

Hi, if you're looking for an update on this interface please visit the website for a complete feature list. Thanks for your interest.

Join our beta AlohaPOS phase for FREE for a limited time. Includes FREE install for beta users only.

Would love to have a look but your website seems to be down.

Hey posrescue,
I'm not sure what may have happened being so long ago, but we are fully up and working right now. We're planning for a public launch May 1st 2013 but we are currently still accepting beta installs at this point for a limited time. Please see the website for details.
Thanks for your interest!
