I have a unique situation.... I have a customer that wants to be able to forward all incoming calls to a cell phone. However, They want it set up so that they can press a button on there phone and use that to forward to the cell phone. There is no particular time and the cell phone that it is forwarded to changes. And the phone that needs to be able to do this is part of the main hunt group ring in.

Hopefully that makes sense and someone can help me with it. Thanks!

have all lines point to a sequential hunt group with 1 member that is a virtual user who is forwarded to the cell phone, but keep in mind once the cell number changes, you will need to update this number on the virtual users forwarding tab

sorry a set hunt group out of service button could do this but you make no mention of where the calls would go when not forwarded to the cell phone

It also depends if you have analog lines or digital lines.
Analog lines forwarded lose on volume and it generally is not nice for people to talk like that.

With ISDN / SIP you can use twinning for that user (smokinjoe2938 described) and that way you can log into that user, change the number and they don't need to to use Manager which is scary for some people.
With analog line you can still log in and put a button on to change the forwarding number.

When not forwarded the calls Will ring in to hunt group as normal. The set up is analogue lines 1416 phones. It is a farm that needs to receive calls pretty much 24/7 during growing season so they want the flexibility of being able to forward the incoming calls on an as needed basis.

you could put a line appearance on the phones (I bet you have that already) and use the line providers forwarding option to route the calls to the cell phone

ok then add regular users to the main hunt group, create a 2nd hunt group called cell users for example, add the virtual user make group a sequential, then go back to main group to the fallback tab and under the fallback out of service tab, add the 2nd hunt group, now when they hit the hunt group out of service button all calls will hit the 2nd hunt group and ring the virtual user who is forwarded to the cell phone.

Do not use trunk to trunk on analogue line. Really bad idea.

Get user controlled forwading enabled on the lines like Westi says.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I think I will go with the line providers forwarding. I thought about that to begin with but didn't do it because they have four lines, they will be ok with only forwarding one of the four so that won't be bad. Thanks again

when forwarded at the network level all calls get forwarded regardles of how many Aux working lines they have
