Any Fast, Cheap (or Free) way to recover Exchange 5.5 edb file?

Hi,

I have an inconsistent Exchange Database (priv.edb and pub.edb). I ran the eseutil repair process, and even though the database is now consistent, it only shows messages before January 2, 2004. The log file signature reads 1/2/2004.

The inconsistent database signature is 2/27/2004.

Can anyone recommend a way to recover this database without the corresponding log files? Is there a way to bring this data back on line?

I don't have any other database backups or log files.

check out go to support.microsoft.com and lookup

isinteg -fix -priv -test -alltests

You may have to run it a few times for it to work.
Run it until the errors are gone or they stop going down.

You should read their webpages befor running though.
