Any big issues with SAV 9.0.6?

Because of a serious issue with 10.1, we need to roll back our clients to 9.x until time proves whether 10.1.7 is stable. I'm debating whether to go back to 9.0.1.1100, which seemed to run fine for our users, or to go to 9.0.6. Any feedback out there?

Out of curiosity what is the serious issue you encountered? I have been starting to prepare to deploy it in my environment.

Mapped drives will show as "disconnected". A Microsoft knowlegebase article claimed that SAV was the culprit, starting in version 10. A Symnatec tech support agent confirmed a fix in 10.1.6 MP1, thus also rolled up in 10.1.7; however, I just did some further testing with a user having the issue and it still occurred in 10.1.7, yet this time the application using the mapped drive would work with that drive despite is showing as "disconnected" under My Computer. I then removed 10.1 and put 9.0.1.1100 on and the same disconnected status shows. Still doing some research (removed SAV altogether).
