Any alternative to SharePoint in the market?

Does anybody here know of a tool (or tools) that competes with SharePoint?
What are the advantages/disadvantages?

I'm not very familiared with it, so i can't point out advantages or disadvantages, but i've heard nice things about joomla.

There are many open source options as well as the other big expensive ones from Oracle, IBM, BEA etc. An open source that I've used on projects to build corporate portals is Liferay

It's pretty good at the standard portal stuff like building codeless applications, personalization, content and functionality sharing and reuse. Not too sure about the IA features like content tagging and search relevancy, but the rest of it is well done, so I'm sure they must be thinking of that as well. I live in a MS SP shop now, so that's all I think about.
