I need to set up routing on a MICS with DR 4.1 S/W tomorrow for a fairly large business. They recently contracted a 2 way inbound 800 and outbound long distance circuit with AT+T to save money in long distance charges. I will have channels 1-18 use. I have already moved lines to free up 1-24, and have the channels in a pool. Since I have never had to do anything with routing service, I would just like to confirm I am headed in the right direction, as I can have little down time. Can anybody give me a brief description on the best way to set this up? I would like the system to recognize the 1+ dialing and automatically use these channels when they dial long distance. The people that have the circuit gave me the specs for the T1, and I know how to provision that within the phone system. They also have a requirement that I need to have the system absorb the "1", which I believe I do by utilizing the "absorb digit". Anybody with some advice or experience in this matter could help me out. Thanks!!
