Brief summary: Our ITS group is set up so that any member can answer calls made to the group number. On rare occassions, two people will attempt to answer at the exact same time: the system sends it to one of the people, but it keeps ringing on the other technician's phone until he hangs up. Sometimes also, if three people try to answer it at once, the two who don't "win" wind up talking to each other. I've been able to duplicate the problem, but have no idea how to fix it. Any ideas?

What CNI are u using?I think there is a fix for this problem in one of the CNIs. I think the latest CNI for BC9 is CNI85D.

Experience it, there is no substitute.

Do a CADAP;
It normally gives you SW level of your switch .

Thanks duvel.

We're using CNI80. How would I go about getting a newer version?

Pls contact your local MD110 service provider .

FR 66624 should solve your problem

This patch is replaced by 69038 in cni76, so upgrading to cni85 does not help in this case. You can check that you really have the patch inserted with pclop:unit=klp1t2;
Jazaya, you're right, this is actually THE patch for this fault.

Thanks for all the help, people.

Running pclop:unit=klp1t2; returns this:

S69038A PROGRAM CONF 98 00001218 0000937A

So...if I am understanding this correctly, that means I have the patch? So why is the fault still happening?

I am out of ideas.
