I know I have done this.... I know I have. But I cannot remember how I did it.

When a line is appearing and ringing on a phone, I want that end user to pick up the handset and immediately have that incoming call.

Not prime line to IC, not to outoging.... But more like prime line to incoming ringing call.

Anyone remember how we did this?

im having the same issue on my lines, in able to completely connect to a call i have to press the correct line button. This is fine for me, but since we installed this new system staff have been dropping lots of calls due to this. Ive been through the config and admin setting but found nothing relevant.

If the line is assigned to the set and it rings you just pick up the reciver or press the line button for speaker.

I figured out mine! changed the line trunk from Super to unspr for each line.

That won't help you. The Supervision is to allow the port to monitor for an OSI (Open Switch Interval), and if it sees it the line will disconnect. Has nothing to do with an incoming call. If you're having an issue picking up the handset to answer the call, then either

1) the line isn't programmed to Appear&Ring or Ring Only on that set
2) the handset is plugged into the headset port

If the above two items are ok, then try pressing the Handsfree button when the phone rings and see if that answers the call. By default, any line programmed to ring will be answered when the handset is lifted, the handsfree button is pressed, or if they have a headset, the headset button is pressed.

Nothing special about it.
