Another Syslog Question

I am trying to use syslog with ciscoworks 2000, I have a strange problem in that only a few of my devices are showing their syslog messages up in ciscoworks,

There are no filters set up to block any messages and if i look in the syslog.log file i can see the messages coming in but then never present themselves anywhere in resource manager.

This is the case with 26 devices out of 30. (4 work fine)

I am using WIN2k SP3, and ciscoworks2k fully patched up.

any ideas?

A wild guest. Can it be that the source ip/hostname in the syslog messages match the ip/hostname for the same devices in RME? I think you can set the source interface for syslog messages in the devices.
