Hi again

Is it also possible to make something.5 equal to something.95

ListPrice Pricelist.Price products.Price result
1.927 1.64 4.5 3.854
1.927 1.64 4.5 3.854
1.927 1.64 11.5 3.854
1.89175 1.61 4.5 3.7835
1.927 1.64 4.5 3.854
1.927 1.64 4.5 3.854
2.1385 1.82 4.5 4.277
2.1385 1.82 4.5 4.277

I would like 4.5 becoming 4.95 and 11.5 becoming 11.95

etc

You could do a find and replace of .5 and replace with .95 if that really is your only criteria.

I'm afraid it needs to be an upgrade, db is live so can only use query in an ASP front end

Can you use a formula such as:-

=ROUNDUP(A1,0)-0.05

Wasn't sure from your note what the APP was.

Whats the APP - is this Excel, Access or what. If it was Excel and I had data in the range A1:C100, in say E1 I would put the formula I gave you, then copy cell E1 and paste it across E1:G100 and it will convert all the number from the first 100 rows in Columns A:C to end with 0.95.

No its access and it has to be a query

Surely this is just an update query with a formula to update the value field....

=replace([field_Name],".5",".95")

Well yes, I've done this, the idea was to update to .50 if price is less that .50 and .95 where prices are greater than .50
