Here goes...when a client attempts to retrieve an IP from DHCP I get the following message in the Event Viewer:
DHCP failed to obtain a lease for the card with network address {blah blah}. The following error occurred: The semaphore timeout period has expired.

I do an IPCONFIG on the client and sure enough, no IP. HOWEVER, when I go to the DHCP server and view Active Leases under DHCP Manager I see that an IP address was assigned to network address {blah blah}. The same network address as above.

What am I overlooking?

Thanks,
Mick

Hi,

Tow solutions

1) axtend the liste of ip adress in DHCP server (the liste
of ip is not suffi mean nb clients < nb ip)

2) the time allocated to some ip are expired

Good luck

Hi
