Hi,

I have four websites I'm working on. They are all in completely separate folders. Each site has been defined and displays a thumbnail proxy of the hierarchy. With that said, this morning I attempt to open an index.htm to one of my sites and Dreamweaver tells me: The site map can not be built, because 1.) a homepage hasn't been specified 2.)a homepage doesn't exist 3.)the homepage is outsider the root folder.

Unfortunately, I check out my remaining sites and I'm prompted with the same warning. I don't get it. I haven't move my folders around. And the way I have them stuctured is with the index page outside of the image and pages folders. This is the way I have always done it and I have always had a site map until now. I went to "edit" to redefine my root directory, but still it will not build a site map. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dan

Nevermind. I went ahead and removed all the root directories and created new ones. I got the site maps back, but it still irks me, somehow. I don't understand how it happened in the first place. Any suggestions will still be appreciated.
