another compiler 2

I asked about a compiler in this forum before, and somebody gave me the name of a really good one, perl2exe. However, this can only be used for 30 days before you have to pay $50, and I'd rather not spend that much right now. Does anybody know about a free compiler for PERL?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Perl has it's own compiler included(sort of)

perl -MO=CC scriptname.pl

This will produce C code that can then be compiled using a C compiler.
