Another Combo box question

I am using a combox to display 2 fields of a query used on a form. It all seems to work except that after a while making some minor form field format changes i noticed my combo box displays the list but when i click the form does not change to the selected query record.
i looked at the code and there is nothing.
i recreated the combo box several times and still i get no event procedure just the following;

Private Sub Combo138_AfterUpdate()

End Sub

what have i done or turned off.

when you add the combo to the form do you get the wizard?

if no s otheir is on the toolbox toolbar next ot the pointer a wizard icon make sure its selected and then add again a new combo box and follow the wizards instructions

Yes I used the wizard, everything went fine. but NO code

I did goto another database and copied and pasted, edited the code and everything works - but something is causing access to not create code on this situation.
i'll do some more tests and report back on this thread

i didnt get you is the wizard working when you place a new combo box on a form?

did you change the name of the combo box?
cause if yes there is your problem
