Hi.

Using Mas 200 V 3.71.

Atempting to use Inventory, Setup, Utilities, Item Renumber, Delete, Merge.

After selecting, immediately get message "Bill Of Materials Tables must be upgraded" and not help options.

I have no idea why, and our support folks have not found an answer yet.

Any suggestsions as to how I upgrade the BOM files?

Should be noted that the bom module is activated, but not in use, and all tables are empty.

Thanks,
ChaZ

Does it let you continue with the Renumber/Delete/Merge?

Sorry, should have answered that. Sadly No it just exits.

Thanks!

I suspect that this install has been upgraded at some point. What this message is telling you is that the Bill of Material files are in a prevous version and you need to update the data files. Try setting up just one Bill. This should do it for you.

Hi. Set up a bill and no change.

Will have to wait for our support group to find a solution, but thank you for trying. I appreciate it.

If the module is not used and the system is comlaining about it, Remove it.

I would have thought setting the module up would have eliminated the issue. I still suspect the issue is the parameter file.

Nonetheless, if thine eye offends you pluck it out. The short story is if removing the module in itself doesn't fix it you will probably be presented with an error that will more precisely identifies the issue.
