Annoying default web page...

How can i remove my annoying default web page? I already
changed my default web page and also tried searching my
registry entries for that particular URL and change it to
the one i want but whenever i re-boot, it goes back again
as the default. Is there any other way to remove/change it?
Anyone, please help before i lose my sanity...

what page is it defaulting to? did you change it in internet properties?

Does this problem still occur in the latest version of IE? I though they solved it already.

er I'm thinking of when individual websites could overwrite your homepage

Hey i finally solved it! I tried running msconfig.exe
and went to the configuration settings. There i found
a command that changes my default webpage to that annoying
one. Just unchecked it and deleted the involed file.
Now everythings back to normal. Thanks for the great
help you guys!
