I need help to get rid of four porn sites that continually come up every time I logon to the internet. I never even went to these sites, they just started appearing. The only thing I can think of is this one website called Make Me Smile which was the last website I visited before these web pages started popping up, might have these sites as links. I have deleted them from the cookies file, temporary internet file and both msn and explorer default opening page.

After deleting them I can open the internet and the pages are not there, but if I shut down the computer and turn it back on and open the internet there they are again.

I have already e-mailed msn's support. They told me that they cannot control this. Huh? I want to get rid of them not control the pages.

Jane,

Reghakr had some good instructions for cleaning out IE and perhaps this will work for you as well. Check out

Thanks for your response. I solved the problem with the help of my brother. It was a Trojan horse which after using Norton Anti Virus helped locate where the virus was attached and once deleted, everything has been fine.

If you want more info on this Trojan, Norton's website has the information on it. What is interesting is that it only attaches to MSN users. At least that is what I interpreted.
