OK, i'll start off giving you my system specs.

AMD 3700+
Motherboard: Abit AN8 32X
Ram: 1 gig stick Corsair Valuepack PC3200 DDR400 Ram
Vid Card: BFG 7900GTX 512
Hard: WD 250gig 7200 caviar HD

I just built this system a few weeks ago and since i built it i've been having a problem as soon as Windows loads up, it will immediately go to a blue screen, if i keep rebooting eventually it will work properly, usually anytime I reboot i get this problem for at least 2-5 reboots before it works.

The cause is DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Technical info:

*** STOP: 0x000000D1 (0xF858B984, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xF1698541)

*** NVTCP.SYS - ADDRESS F1698541 BASE AT F1698000, DATESTAMP 42e6d9d4

beginning of physical memory dump.

This particaluar time it gave that file "NVTCP.SYS" Sometimes it gives the file HTTP.SYS

I have no idea why its doing this, if anyone could shed some light i'd much appericate it. Thank you.

OK i tried the good stick in slot 1, the questionable stick in slot 3 and again it gave the long beeps. I took out the questionable stick and its booting up just fine. I've noticed (my fingers are crossed) that the BSOD has stopped as well.

Good for you in finding your problem. Bad memory sure will cause the problem you encountered so by passing this information on, it may, help someone in the future.

Well, either the stick is bad, as you noticed, or the MEM timings are way off, check the BIOS and set it to STANDARD timing (RAM TIMING BY SPD)...

also you did not specify the size and make of the PSU... maybe underpowered, especially with that GFX Card you have... just a notion...
