Annoying beeping noise on Nortel phone system

Good afternoon, first post here and need some help!

I have a user in a call centre who has random beeps in her headset. We do not have any call forwarding or call transfer settings on her phone and this has been tested, they are literally random. I have tried "CLS FITA" command in LD20 but this makes no difference. There is no regulartity of these beeps and and can beep upto 4 times in a row? The phone is an ACD Meridian M3110.

Does anybody have a clue?

Missing from your post is if they are using wireless headset option on that phone. Many have beep notify to the earpiece when the base units 'hears' a ring signal thru its small monitor microphone.
Turn the sensitivity down to low.

If you have a wired Plantronics headset and amplifier set, more than likely the batteries are dying in the amp; replace them.
