Hi All,
I have a s8300 on V5.1 and have an Auto Attendent set with VDN to Vector with 5 options, the Msg's or all working apart from my main greeting which basicly if calling direct the announcement number is giving out P.E.T (Busy Tone)I have done all usual checks ie checked the recording is still their showing recorded time, checked all system settings, busied & Released card on correct gateway tested card and still the announcement will not play. It has worked fine for well over 2 months but since a power cut stopped.
Any one with any ideas, much appreciated.

We had a similar issue. If I recall, we used the command disable announcement-board (board location) then enable announcement-board (board location).

It also may have been lost if it wasn't saved prior to losing power. It may need to be re-recorded.

I would look at the gateway firmware, there have been several releases that address this. if that does not work SP8 for 5.2.1 addresses this issue on gateways after a power loss.

Their are also known issues with different hardware versions
( vintages) and firmware version of VAL boards working with CM 5.2. I had one that would not work at all until I upgraded the firmware. So I would at least check the board for the latest firmware recommended for the hardware version.

When is the last time you helped someone, just because you were able to?
