We are running AACC 6.3 . In the Master script , I have a GIVE IVR entry that I manually activate by remarking in / out as needed . The GIVE IVR is a special announcement that is played to all callers at the beginning of their call , before they hear the menu options , before the call is transfered to a queue .
Is there a way to schedule the GIVE IVR was a DATA variable ? I want to be able to set a date range , if the actual date is inside that range , the caller will hear the special announcement , THEN will hear the various menu options as the script processing continues . If the actual date is OUTSIDE the data range , the caller simply hears the normal menu options .
It's Friday , I'm having a cerebral malfunction and can't seem to figure out the best way to make this work . Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated !
