Primary mouse cursor set to wagtail.ani. If PC is rebooted, the tail doesn't move once we're back to desktop. Going back to mouse properties and selecting wagtail again fixes. Using latest mouse driver from pc manufacturer. (WinXp Pro.) Any ideas?

So what you're saying is that your animated cursor stops moving when you reboot, and starts again when your computer is loaded up?

No, it only restarts if I select the animated file in mouse properties again. It stops animation completely on a reboot.

I didn't think about trying that...Duh on MY part! I will try it when things slow down and post the results.

I tried all of the animated cursors and they all appear to stop wrkg after logging on. They are wrkg fine at the login screen. If I put the machine in standby mode, they are wrkg fine after awakening and as stated before, if I go back to the pointer properties and select the same animated file, the animation will start again.

Not the answer I was hoping for! I was hoping you would say that the others worked.

I have never had this problem, nor heard of it before. Do you really need a moving cursor? All I can suggest is that you try a 3rd party cursor tool and use that to assign the cursor you want.
If you solve this poblem, post it here. I would like to know what causes it.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
