Is it possible to have an outside call show its number on my analog stations (CallrID-type, TN793 circuit packs)? I believe this is called automatic number identification (ANI). I have CO trunks only and incoming calls go to an automated attendant menu.

You need TN429B CO circuit packs, instead of TN747's (which is likely what you have), to be able to receive Caller ID from your Central Office, and of course you have to have Caller ID enabled on each line as well.

Thanks.
And with these CO circuit packs, my analog TN793 stations would receive callerID even if the outside call goes through an automated attendant (a vdn with attendant vectoring)?
