Hi,

We have this ancient PBX, Nitsuko DX2ET-32BM and we need to do call recording with it. We have gotten the software and the PCI card that goes to the recording server, but as the card has no Digital extension support, we need to record on the incoming trunk line.

This means we will lose the Extension support, and wont be able to keep track of the calls.

Speechlog, the software's developer said we need SMDR output from the PBX and take it to a COM port on the server, which will pass all the necessary info.

This Phone system has a main handset, DX2ET-16TXH which has a connector on the bottom. This should be connected to the COM port on the server i heard. Could you show me to the direction of a cable that I can connect the two? I am browsing my brains out, but cannot find anything. This is the first time I deal with a phone system, so I was hoping experienced people might enlighten me about this SMDR issue.

Thanks a lot,

Ben
