I have a strange scenario. I have an IP Office on R11.1 SP1. I have 4 - 1416 phones and an analog cordless combo. There is a base and 4 phones connected to this one base. Calls ring into a collective hunt group w/call waiting and ring all phones. Intermittently a call will get answered and the cordless phones will continue to ring, but the ring is a long continuous ring for about 10 seconds. The cordless phones did get replaced and the issue continues. Any ideas?

Have you tried putting a buttset/analog phone in place of the cordless base and see if the issue persists? If so then it is likely an issue with the port. If it goes away the issue is likely with the cordless base.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

I had the same problem with another communication system, I replaced the power supply and the fault was corrected. I do not know if it applies to avaya, but ... The Twilight Zone ... The source of that system that I comment is detachable and manages the voltages of the analog tones with manual switches.
