Analog Trunk Release

I had a problem when forward the analog external trunk(from PSTN) to Automatic attendant (openscape xpression ) or IVR
when the caller dial and heared the voice guide and on hook ,
the trunk still busy and don't release,

how can I solve it, thanks for ur help.

This is a generic answer because I really should be working, but there are a number of different settings for trunk supervision in COT and COP that may be affecting the problem, and I would check the trunk settings in general. If you have some of the same type that are working correctly I would compare the settings and see if anything is different.

You also don't say which switch you're on - the process is different depending on which one you're on.

It also depends on the PTT/Carrier that supplies the analogue trunk.
Some do not supply a clear down signal.
With analogue voicemails you used to train the voicemail to recognise the hang up tone.
