Hello All,

For programming and testing UCX in lab with an analog FXO card in it, can we use a 2 or 4 port ATA with FXS ports on it? Essentially any cost effective method to simulate a PSTN environment is what I am looking for. Thanks so much in advance.

Yes, that should work fine. Another option would be to get a line simulator such as a Teltone TLS-5 which has 5 FXS ports, and programmable number plan and Caller-ID Name.

Thank you so much for confirmation that ATA can be used. I looked at Ebay for Teltone and it is bit expensive for my needs. So I will go with a 2 port ATA to test.

Appreciate again your help.
