Hello, what's up with this? worked for a while now flashing green. Here is the scoop.

ip 406v2 DS 5.0(20)
analouge pots2 5.0.20
dig dcp 8 5.0.20
dig dcp x 30 57.0.20
analouge pots8 6.2.23

all was working fine.

Suggestions?????????

tried rebooting, check connections..
thanks

You need to upgrade the externl POTS 30 module.

Your IPO has R5.0(20) so your POTS should show R7.0(20) as your DS30 does (unless you really have got hold of R57?!?!?)

Failing that, check you have a 1m shielded Cat 5 lead between the IPO and the module.

flashing green means it's lost connection to the mother ship.

I thought the cable is blue.

Try restarting the main unit and not the external modules.

I often have to do that as the external modules finishes booting before the system and then it can't find the system... Or is it the other way arond?

Either way, reboot the main control unit while leaving the external modules on.

Actually i swapped the one from the digital 30 to verify a working cable.

thanks

Power down everything. Restart the modules and let them go green and then the ipo.

After that, put it in another expansion port on the ipo.
