anyone do this and have it work on 3.1.56? I tried setting this up so that a station port on the 406v2 would provide a disconnect clear to my TAMB, so the TAMB would disconnect after a page (so I don't have to use Page timers and stuff). The station port will not disconnect, and if fact, the port "freaks" out and remains connected even though I hung up the extention that called it. In monitor, I get all kinds of TDMlink errors and the switch resets. I've tried different station ports, same thing.

I can't remember, but is the bogen ports polarity sensitive on this??

Not sure, but I do have the tip and ring matched up. I did a test on a 403's analog pot with a regualar pot telephone and didn't have any prob's settting it to IVR and getting it to correctly disconnect. But on that 406v2, I'm using the analog phone 16 exp port, so maybe that's the difference. Everything is same release. 3.1.56. Wierd thing is, the 4406 phone I was calling from on that 406v2 locked up too, and I had to unplug the phone to get it to work again. So let me start over and exactly explain my problem;

1. I set analog phone POT ext 170 to IVR via the extention form setting in manager

2 hooked up the Bogen TAM-B to the analog Phone POT (ext 170 in this case)

3. Dial 170 from a 4406 phone, it does access the paging system just fine, after finishing the page I hang up.

4. The 4406 I called on, is locked up with it showing me still connected to 170, even though the call appearance is not lit. The phone is unresponsive to anything. THe paging call never disconnects, and call status show me that ext 170 is connected to NONE with a wierd icon that I haven't seen before, like it's trying to disconnect.

5 Monitor shows me, TDM link errors and then the system seems to reset or at least that DS module does.

6. If I set analog ext 170 to standard via manager extension form, everything works just fine, no crashes, no TDM link errors, (except on the paging side, the TAM-B never recieves a disconnect clear signal and I have to use paging timers which is not ideal for this customer).

7. So by merely changing my ext 170 port from standard to IVR, it completely messes up the system.
