Analog port lockout

We have an OPT61C 23.55. No Patches

Our issue is, when calling into an anlaog port connected to a fax machine the port either takes 23 seconds to disconnect or just goes into lockout. It only happenes with a fax not a single line set.

Replaced card, moved to another port on another card same issue.

Any ideas?

I suspect if you tested with a difference fax machine you may notice a difference - woth a try.

Otherwise, flip tip and ring just to see

is it all fax machines? look at your timers, the disconect on the fax may be default to close to your hook flash timer.. that puts that call on hold instead of hanging up
