Is there anyway for an analog station port to get an outside line w/o having to dial a 9? Thanks in advance.

If it is one single number that you are trying to call then you could set this up as a "hotline destination". You pick the receiver up and the phone dials the preprogrammed number . Other than that, the only way I know of to bypass ARS is to enter the TAC, which is usually a 2 digit number.

Could you put the 9 as the hot line destination then you will have dial tone to dial the rest of the number.

Thanks for your responses. To save time, ended up using a POTS line.

go to page 3 of the analog station form and towards the bottom there is a hot line feature ...
Place in the dial code to either the system list or group or personal list just the digit 9 (assume that your ARS feature access code is 9).
When caller goes off hook, it will dial the 9 giving the caller that secondary dial tone to accept dialed digits for the PSTN (like your home phone).
This is also called assume 9 in the old days.
