Ok, so we have a Mitel 3300 ICP switch with a TDM peripheral cabinet which has analog and digital line cards.
We have some analog stations programmed on one analog ONS card PN#:MC320BE
We can call other extensions from an analog phone on this card, and we can call the analog phone. When the analog phone is called on this card though, it does not ring, however, we can go off hook and take the call.

We tries resetting the card, busy/RTS etc., did not work. The phones are programmed up just like phone sin our SX 2000.

Is there some ring generator programming required to have the analog lines ring? Or is there a hardware requirement?

thanks,

No but I believe there is a fuse on the back of the Per Node.

after double checking, the fuse on the back is not directly related to ringing.

Best guess is the the power supply is faulty.

Another thought is if the phone has an electronic ringer and does not recognise the voltage being sent. (less than what you would receive directly on a analog trunk.

Have you tried a multimeter to measure ring voltage.

You should receive around 80V RMS

Go to the PSP DSP assignment form, and set the second channel to FSK generator, the phones will now ring. This is also needed for caller id on CLASS-CLIP ons devices....

ALSO you must reload the peripheral node for it to start working......

I have had this numerous times.

The Power Convertor had to be swapped a couple times, also the Per Cab once.

Try setting the following to NO in the COS of the phone.

ONS CLASS/CLIP (all three options)
