Issue: We recently purchased a simple cordless AT&T analog phone to replace an older model, however the new analog phone will receive calls but no calls can be placed from the phone.

Even though the station remained the same is there a setting in the system parameters or a class of restriction that would be affecting the phone from receiving but not placing calls?

Thank you in advance.

Have you checked the phone itself for Tone/Pulse dial settings? It would seem the system is not receiving correct digit tones from the phone.

Change the set type to K2500, this will be good for both Touch Tone and rotary. You might want to say no to "test?" on page one because it causes a slight ring or ping to some cordless phones during the test.

Update: Changing the phone type from a 2500 to K2500 worked. :)

Thanks for the assistance.

FYI

The section at the top of the page (FAQ) has a lot of great information in it. You can also do a search and come up with a lot of good questions and answers.
