Analog Phone ring at the same time as 7324

I have a 7324 on my desk but I do a lot of roaming, so I have installed a 900Mhz cordless phone in my office as well. When my desk phone (ext 221) rings, I want my cordless phone (ext 303) to ring too. I thought I was supposed to use Answer DN onthe ext 303 phone, but it does not work. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

It should work, did you show set 303 and add 221 as the answer DN?

You can't use answer DN on a single line phone.You can try to use call forward (Feat. 4),so if you step out from phone you can forward your phone to your cordless.Thats my opinion. Good Luck!

One cannot program answer DN on a ATA. So, one needs whereas your desk phone M7324 is 303 and your cordless phone 221.

Yes true if this cordless is on an ATA, I was thinking it was a 7406..my mistake.
I would agree to do the above 2 suggestions or setup a hunt group.

Why don't you create a hunt group with the 2 members (303 and 221). Set that Hunt Group as BROADCAST. Then, when someone calls that hunt group, both extensions ring.

I thought about that, but after looking, I swapped the 303 and 221 DN's...Voice mail stayed with the 221 on the cordless phone and I set the Answer DN on the 303 (non cordless extention). Works perfect. Thanks for the help and the tips.
