I have a Partner ACS where the customer wants to put an analog Panasonic phone as an extension. They want the phone to receive no inbound calls and be able to make outbound calls to only two #'s...a specific 866 number and 911. So far so good, all of that has been accomplished. Here is the issue: they also want a speed dial set-up for the users to able to hit 79 or 679 to dial the specific 866 number. The analog phone has no built in speed dial seats. How can I make this happen?

Analog set's extension would have to be set to pick intercom dial tone, then program a system speed dial (600-699), at the station on intercom dial tone would then dial # (600-699) for 866 number , but would have to dial 9-911 for emerg.

How Do I : " set's extension would have to be set to pick intercom dial tone" on Acs R1 and 206.

go to the FAQ'S , link to avaya , download a manual and look for line selection also read the section on standard phones

You're going to have to make a disallow list with "!" (wild) in it, and an allow list with the two specific numbers in it, then assign both of them to the extension.

79 is not a valid Personal Speed Dial number, they are from 80 to 99.

Yes, you will have to program the set for Intercom first.

The users will lift the handset, press # and then the Personal or System Speed Dial location with the allowed number.

I dont think there is a standard phone user guide , go to the index in the back of any partner manual and look for "standard phone"

there is a overveiw and then specfics .

I take the sections appropriate to the customers uses and copy it to letterhead and make a Standrd phone "cheat sheet
