Hi to all.
I need to make a conference call with an analog phone, this is the page of analog phone manual for mitel:

To set up a Conference when a two-party call is already in place, or to
add another party to an existing Conference:
1. Press FLASH or quickly press and release the hookswitch.
2. Dial the number of the next party.
3. Wait for an answer.
4. Press FLASH or quickly press and release the hookswitch.
5. Dial Conference Call access code ( *4 ).

At point 4 when I press R button, I stablish call with the first person and I can´t press the dial conference call access code.
Can somebody help me.
Thanks before hand.

What type of system are you running?

Are you sure that the Conference Call access code is *4?

Have you checked the Class of Service for that set? The option to allow may not be enabled.

You can't fix stupid...

But you sure can profit from it!

When the second call is connected you need to press R again, get dial tone again and the put in the feature access code.

So it goes:

Make first call
Press R (get dial tone)
Make second call
Press R (dial tone)
Dial FAC

If I am reading this right and when you press the flash for the second time to input the Conference code you are presented with the first caller and not dialtone I know what the issue is.

You need to remove the COS option for "Call Waiting Swap"
