Hello all,

I've got a small office system with three analog lines. If someone calls in on one of the analog lines, dials an employees extension, and that employee has their extension forwarded it uses another analog line to dial out....using two of the three analog lines to complete the call. Is this my only option with the analog lines?
Can I use the same analog line to dial back out on for the forward?
By no means am I a telephony guru so any input would be appreciated.

That's how it will work on analog lines. It will come in on (1) line and out on another. If you had centrex analog lines, they can be forwarded using only (1) line, but you would be forwarding the line, not the extension. So, anytime someone called 555-5555 it would forward out, not everytime someone chose ext. 100 so I doubt that option would work for you.

I just wanted to verify the process. Thanks for the quick reply.

If you did have centrex lines the IPO should be able to do a centrex transfer to whatever mnumber you want to transfer it out to without using a second line to do this. The centrex feature line is something which you would order from your Telco.
