Analog line on IP Office?

Is it possible to add an analog line instead of a digital line thru the Avaya IP Office? I need a few extra fax lines and the company doesn't want to pay the 35 a month for them. Under control units it lists Analogue ATM16 as a type of device, is this the analog mod?

The ATM16 is used to connect analog trunks from the CO. You would want to use the Phone 8 or Phone 16 module. If you're using a 406v2, then you already have 2 analog station ports on the control unit (BP1 and BP2).

I do show 2 analog lines on the base unit however is there a way to add more then those? What I have listed for devices are:

1. IP 406 DS Ver 3.1
2. Analogue POTS2 ver 3.1
3. Digital DCP 8 ver 3.1
4. DIG DCPx30 V2 ver 5.1
5. DIG DCPx30 V2 ver 5.1
6. Analogue ATM16 ver 5.1

Under the class heading it shows 4, 5 and 6 TDMInterconnect number 1 as CPU and 2 and 3 as unknownInterconnect.

you have three expansion modules
you can add three more
but do you need trunks or ports ?
is your ATM16 full ???

I think what you are asking for Analogue Extensions for fax machines?

Phone8, Phone16 or Phone30 expansion module is what you need.

Only if the two on the 406v2 are used
if they are not used then nothing is needed if you do not need more then two analog extensions
