Analog line on bcm50

I had a weird issue crop up on a bcm50 i have at a customers
she has a lucent soundstation conference room phone
on a 1fl from bell
she wants it moved onto one of the internal analog i/f on her bcm
i went to move it over and i can't get dailtone from pins 5, 6, 7 or 8 on my buttset
i know it used to work as we had a postage machine on pin 5
and fax on in 7

(they've gone IP on those two items since)

so far everywhere i looked in services etc looks ok
and amphenol is securely in place
all confirmed with a second set of eyes (and buttset)

not sure where to look next

my only plan b is to put an ATA on it which i don't want to do

any thougths are appreciated

Did you check they have keycodes and how many?
Are they listed under Active Sets?

how did you know i just got new eyeglasses

yes sir, under active sets
and still shows the names i had assigned to them
when i had devices attached to them

only thing i could think of was the 25pair amphenol
i'd be amazed if that whole cable got compromised during comm room construction

I had one 2 weeks ago that was just way our of wack on colour order.

Bring another, first try other pins with test set to check that theory and also try calling the ports to see if they ring.
Maybe there is an issue with the BCM50 but have not heard of all 4 going.
Double check test set works on a trunk.

that was my plan of attack, take down another amphenol
maybe an ata
and my buttset and dig in...

i don't know why the customer put a lock on the comm room
people go in and out of there like its the company kitchen
